Being situated close to the River Thames, Sorb is often involved with the manufacture of parts for river craft including window and porthole frames laser cut with countersunk fixing holes from 316 stainless steel, handrail brackets and other chandlery items.

We can manufacture flat laser cut profiles to specification from all materials as well as undertake high quality fabrication suited to both river boat interiors and exteriors.

Repairs of existing components can be undertaken such as engine mounts, heavy duty outboard engine brackets and internal brackets. Our expertise and capacity means that we can undertake work quickly, based on original parts or simple sketches.

Refurbishment and refitting of boats can involve external features such as canopy frames, railings and mast fixtures whilst internal refits can include galley, head and cabin decorative fittings and furniture.

Trailer servicing and repairs can be undertaken in aluminium including repairs to mud gaurd mounts, roller mounts and general structural frameworks.

We also have significant experience in the fabrication of chassis and frameworks for robotic submersible vehicles, work which requires the highest levels of expertise in stainless steel welding and fabrication.
