Sorb Engineers were founded during 1966, England's world cup winning year, by brothers Bob and Bert Simpson.
Mike Simpson (Bob's son) became Managing Director in 1999. Amongst the workforce Sorb employs several members of staff who are now in their second decade of employment with the company.
Based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Sorb has good access to the motorway network via both the M4 and M40 and serves customers throughout Great Britain.
The company has consistently reinvested, specialising in offering the services of the latest technology in order to best achieve high efficiency, quality and lower cost to the customer.
In house services include CNC laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, fabrication and assembly.
Sorb has a large design facility with 4 skilled CAD designers, providing a fast and accurate response to customers' enquiries.
Production is fully managed through a leading edge production management system, providing efficient job control from quotation to invoice and excellent customer communication at all times.

GS Henley Cycling Club
New for 2012 Sorb are happy to be sponsoring GS Henley Cycling Club.The relatively new club has over 150 members and can be regularly seen in their distinctive orange kit riding around the Chilterns.
The club consists of a combination of some top amateur riders as well as enthusiastic riders new to cycling.
Sorb’s logo can be seen on their cycling jersey. We wish all the athletes safe riding and successful racing for 2012.
